1. Testing and Evaluation Technology for Multi-temperature Adaptable Smart Textiles in Dynamically Changing Environments
●Establish a variety of corresponding evaluation processes for temperature- adaptable smart functional textiles (fabrics, semi-finished products and clothing systems) to measure the properties of temperature adaptation . Evaluation technologies include fabric thermal regulation index and fabric thermal dissipation rate detection. In addition, the evaluation technology of thermal physiology and comfort for temperature adaptive smart clothing system is established.
-Use physiological comfort manikin to establish thermo-physiological evaluation technology of temperature-adaptable smart clothing system.
-The classification of the simulated physiological sensations is established on the basis of the ISO/DIS 10551: 2017 standard.
-A fabric heat regulation index is developed (MAD < 0.1).
-The testing technology of fabric thermal dissipation is developed on the basis of the ASTM D7984-16 standard.
2. Testing and Evaluation Technology for Moisture-responsive Textiles
According to the properties of humidity responsive textiles, various evaluation processes and evaluation technologies were established, and the maximum temperature difference value of humidity sensitive heating / cooling under changing humidity conditions was evaluated according to ISO 16533:2014 modified method and ISO 18640-1:2018 + AMD 1:2019. In addition, the post-exercise chill period (PCdur) evaluation of moisture-responsive textiles was established.
-According to ISO 16533:2014 modified, the evaluation technology of fabric moisture sensitive heating / cooling under changing moisture was established, and the maximum temperature difference between heating and cooling was calculated, MAD<0.5℃.
-Postexercise chill(PCdur) is evaluated for the moisture-responsive smart textiles (MAD < 0.5 min).
3. Testing and Evaluation of Humidity- and-Temperature- Adaptive Textiles
According to the properties of dual temperature and humidity (20℃* 65% RH /35℃* 30% RH) textiles, the corresponding evaluation processes and technologies were established, including the evaluation of drying rate and evaporation performance of fabrics based on AATCC 201-2014 modified method and MS 136a, and the establishment of three-stage activity simulation by using warm sweating manikin to evaluate the skin temperature and evaporation performance, the dynamic change of heat flow, and drying time after exercise of smart functional clothing.
-The evaluation technologies of the drying rate and time of fabric under different environmental conditions was developed by modifying the AATCC 201-2014 method. The RSD %and MAD of repeated measurements were less than 6.9% and 7.6 s, respectively.
-According to MS 136a, the evaluation technology of water evaporation for smart functional fabric is established, and the CV% of repeated measurement is less than 8.4%.
-Evaluate the skin temperature and evaporation performance, the dynamic change of heat flow, and drying time of smart functional clothing, and the CV% of repeated measurement is less than 9.9%.
